RSL - Air Fair Radio began their RSL on 87.9 MHz today broadcasting from Biggin Hill in Kent. They're providing commentary coverage of the International Air Fair this weekend. The AirFair-Radio website has more information and an email address for reception reports.
Propagation - Another day where the muf just got to Band 2 and Italy. BBC Essex on 95.3 has now gained its network data stream (and hence lost the dot BBC.Essx). Invicta FM decided to experiment with RDS and coded themselves as IMAGE_M4 with PI:C123.

RSL - Total Rock Radio in Putney began their RSL on 87.7 MHz at around 0030 local time last night, taking the frequency over from TUBE Radio in Ealing. They're on-air until June 17. Propagation - Brief Sporadic E opening around 1740 UTC - the computer caught one log while I was shopping. 2030 UTC and the band is livening up to the South. Isle of Wight Radio on 107.0 plus the Caen outlets are good.

RDS Change - BBC National channels (R2 R3 and R4) seem to be changing RDS Name from _BBC_R2_ to BBC_R2__ at various times. Reason as yet unknown.
